I'm talking about the powdered cheese from Walton.

Also the milk, but I've seen some comments on that

Has anyone here bought any of the cheese?

Nobody tried it?

Usually when I buy macaroni, i get the cheese with it, but that reqires adding milk and butter. I'm guessing the powdered cheese sauce just needs water added?

The powdered cheddar is really very tasty, but is nothing like real cheese as far as texture. More like a reconstituted sauce. It has a real sharp white cheddar flavor, but its texture is more liked whipped butter then cheese. If you like sharp cheddar cheese you will probably like it. I love it, but its pretty expensive IMO.

Sounds like it will make good mac n cheese, cheese sauces, go in cheesy egg scrambles, and I like melted cheese in beans, which it should work well for. It might be good on baked potatoes or summer squash too.

Glad to hear it is nice and sharp, Reality.

Just get the real powdered cheese. The cheese blend is very different. It's more like the powdered cheese flavoring people sprinkle on popcorn. It could be used for mac and cheese, I suppose, but it would take some getting used to. Even my dogs turned their noses up at it.
